What’s your nickname?

Didn’t really have one. But got called Fester for a while because it rhymed with Lester.

Why did you become a police officer?

I liked the uniform and driving fast… No seriously I wanted a challenging career and job security.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

It’s the variety, never knowing what each day will bring and counting how many times Chris would swear during a shift.

What was your favourite RW moment that you were in?

I’ve got lots of favourites most of which can’t be screened but the best was probably the time spent in Chicago for the two USA episodes.

What was your favourite RW moment of another officer’s?

Pat kicking the car after it broke during a pursuit..... Nice!!!!!

What was it like being followed by a camera crew?

They were with Chris and I for about 2 years on and off. The only problem was the amount of time that Chris took doing his make up.

If you weren’t a police officer, what do you think you would be doing?

I’d be lying around on the beach, not taking life too seriously. Or being Pat and Carls agent, they get lots of fan mail.

Which of the cars did you like driving the best?

We managed to write off our Omega during a pursuit in Slough, yes of course Chris was driving.  We got a new Vauxhall Vectra which was a far better car. So that would be my favourite. A Ferrari would have been better tho.
