What’s your nickname?

I seem to have adopted a few... MCShambles, Macca, Treacle

Why did you become a police officer?

It was something that always interested me from a young age but I wanted to wait a couple of years after leaving school before I joined. I ended up doing an office job and I couldn’t bear being cooped up all day long and the monotony drove me mad so joined the police for some variety in my job. Oh yeah, and so I could drive big fast traffic cars all day long – and I get paid for it!

What’s your favourite part of the job?

There’s too many highlights to mention but probably the best part is the laughs we have on the team – mainly listening to TV34 ripping it out of Waller and waiting for his pathetic comebacks! There’s a lot of p*ss taking but its all good banter!

What was your favourite RW moment that you were in?

There haven’t been too many clips of me on RW yet...maybe a good thing! I’m dreading it when I get shown running. I am possibly The. World’s. Worst. Runner! That’s when I’m gonna hide under the cushion!

What was your favourite RW moment of another officer’s?

Usually anything to do with Charlie... that boy cracks me up! He’s got such a funny way about him – I did enjoy the polacc after his and Mish’s pursuit with the Volvo. All that red mist and adrenaline and he didn’t hit a thing... then prangs the car doing a 3 point turn! D’oh!

What was it like being followed by a camera crew?

It was alright and they became part of the crew – when you’ve got an old pro like Conrad showing you the ropes then what could possibly go wrong...?

If you weren’t a police officer, what do you think you would be doing?

I would be begging Top Gear to be the first female Stig!

Which of the cars did you like driving the best?

They’ve both got their good points... the Omegas are great being rear wheel drive  - they slide quite well! But I can’t fault the petrol 2.8 Vecta that we’re currently driving – its so quick and nifty! I tell whoever drives it that there will be no “tactical contact” whatsoever, we’re hanging onto that car as long as possible so we don’t get a diesel!

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that not many people know:

Probably not interesting but I can’t stand watching someone brush their teeth... or the thought or sight of false teeth makes me feel very uncomfortable... I’ve got goose bumps at the mere thought of them. Arrrrgh!
