What was your call sign on RW?

TV32

What’s your nickname?

Carlos or Brum

Why did you become a police officer?

Because I was no good at ballet dancing.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Serving the community, Helping people, Arresting thugs....NO....its Home Time.

What was your favourite RW moment that you were in?

Wow! There’s so many goods moments caught on camera but I like to have a laugh so I am going to go for when I was eating my sandwich after we had dealt with a guy who had got his car clamped for no tax, because I was trying to get out of the cameras shot I stepped back – straight into a hole and fell over. When I was back on traffic at Bicester I was walking across Oxford Services on the M40 eating a sandwich when some guy wound down his window and shouted over to me, I didn’t think I needed his advice on not falling over!!

What was your favourite RW moment of another officer’s?

What…. Was their other officers apart from me and Pat? Lester (Chris) always makes me laugh, just trying to understand him is hilarious. The scene with the PRINCE was brilliant, I just could not understand what was happening or being said! It was like a tribal dance off.

What was it like being followed by a camera crew?

? Are you rubbing it in that they do not follow me anymore? What WAS IT like. HUH!

If you weren’t a police officer, what do you think you would be doing?

When I left the Army I had two options. The first was the Police. The second was my own cleaning / ironing service. I was going to target middle aged women (but not fussy, younger the better as long as spare money to waste on my services) who were stuck at home all day bored. I would arrive in my thong / dickie bow, although other outfits optional, and do the cleaning etc whilst entertaining the bored home owner. No reason why I still wouldn’t be doing that!

Which of the cars did you like driving the best?

I am not fussy about cars, although driving a car after Pat normally meant it would not be long before something fell off causing a crash.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that not many people know:

When I first joined the Army, still young and sweet, I used to tour the country doing Indian Club Swinging displays. What on earth is that I hear you say? Well, it is what the sailors used to do to stay fit many years ago. So why the Army had a display team I don’t know. PS- Any photo requests of this had better come with a large envelope full of cash!!!!
